Our Community Media Workshops foster participants’ creative talent, give them access to ‘active’ media production and support the development of communication and team working skills. The media-based skills can be built upon to take participants into employment within the creative and cultural section. Equally’ being a part of a production team will build self confidence and esteem, improve decision-making and interpersonal skills.

Workshops will be delivered over a 26- week period and take place in the afternoons and evenings.

An attendance and achievement certificate will be issued at the end of each series of workshops and certificates will record competence gained, E.g. Can upload Film Footage and use relevant software’s to edit footage ready for mastering

Additionally, there will be opport0unities for individuals who wish to pursue media-based studies to compile a portfolio of work to provide evidence of the skills/knowledge demonstrated throughout the learning process. This Evidence could be electronic or paper- Based and may be used gaining an accredited media-based Qualification.
